OUR PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES

“All men dream: but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds wake up in the day to find it was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dreams with open eyes, to make it possible.”~T.E. Lawrence, Seven Pillars of Wisdom: A Triumph.

During the last decade, the organization has expanded its programs and initiatives to the community of Mt. Rose in keeping with its vision and mission.

PROJECT RESTORATION-The Mt. Rose Seventh-day Adventist Primary School

Located in the historic Parish of St. Patrick, in the village of Mt. Rose, you will find The Mt. Rose Seventh-Day Adventist Primary School. According to information gathered, the School was registered with the Ministry of Education in the year 1910.The school was originally housed downstairs the Mt. Rose Seventh-Day Adventist Church which was located where Ms. Eltina's house presently sits (this is in close proximity to the school's present location. Ms. Eltina was famous for her Milo snow ice). The school originally started with three teachers and an unknown number of students. The building that now houses this noble institution was built some time after hurricane Janet (1955); you can also find another structure, the kitchen where the school's feeding program is hosted. A portion of your donations to the Mt. Rose Project Inc. will be given to the school as we wish to preserve and improve our community's primary school...Information provided by Elder Austin Lewis.
