Note From Our Co-Founder

I spent four years as an international undergraduate student in New York, and I often reflect on the widow's story in 1 Kings 17:7-16—the story of oil and flour that never ran out. Each day, there was just enough to get by. If you can relate to this or any other Bible story of God's provision, we extend a hand to you. To everyone who has lived or is still living in the community and has received blessings from God along life’s journey—those who have achieved their dreams or are on the path to doing so and understand the challenges of success—we invite you to join us on an epic journey of giving back. Together, we can reflect on our journey from where we began to where we are now and help others achieve their dreams.~Rolda(Tiny).

Our Mission

To provide our students with the tools necessary to succeed.

Our Vision

A community where every student is successful. We define success here as being the best part of one self.

The Dream Begins!

"All men dream; but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds Awake to find that it was vanity; But the dreamers of day are dangerous men. That they may act their dreams with open eyes to make it possible."~T. E. Lawrence.

On August 24th, 2014, the organization hosted the first ever ‘Back to School Fun Day’ event in the community. The event featured a FREE bouncy castle, face painting, and various games—all at no cost to the children. Every child who attended left with a package filled with school supplies to kick off the new school year.

FIVE (5) CONSECUTIVE YEARS!

“Everybody can be great. Because anybody can serve. You don’t have to have a college degree to serve. You don’t have to make your subject and your verb agree to serve…. You don’t have to know the second theory of thermodynamics in physics to serve. You only need a heart full of grace. A soul generated by love.” ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

In 2018, the organization celebrated five consecutive years of service to the community and hosted various programs, including its annual Back to School Event and the Student Enrollment Growth Initiative Program (GSDACS). The organization also refurbished the Mt. Rose SDA Elementary School preschool bathroom, costing approximately $25,000 EC. Additionally, it donated a project to GSDACS valued at USD 1,000.

PANDEMIC YEARS

“Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do.”~Steve Jobs. .

During the pandemic, we adapted our approach to ensure that children continued to receive necessary supplies and support while prioritizing their health and safety. The organization launched Operation Drive-By, an initiative that involved loading vehicles with school supplies and treats for direct delivery to the children. We collected over two dozen Texas Instruments scientific calculators, five Samsung/Lenovo tablets, over 1,000 composition notebooks, and 200 backpacks.

TEN (10) CONSECUTIVE YEARS!

"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world."~Harriet Tubman

The organization proudly celebrated its 10th consecutive year of providing every child in the community with back-to-school supplies, concluding the program on a high note. This milestone also saw the introduction of the STEM Summer Academy, designed to inspire and engage students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, we donated a printer to GSDACS, funded by the registration fees from STEM Summer Program students.
